I'm going to resurrect my Grandfather's 48 Ford that has been sitting on the family ranch for the last 48 yrs or so. I'll be swapping the cab and hood from my 48 Ford F-5 that used to be a ODOT dump truck and the bed from the F-1 over to a 79 Ford F350 frame that has a 73 460 and a C6 trans. I'll be putting in something different for the rear end - most likely a 9" 1/2 ton and swapping out the 1 ton spindles and hubs for 1/2 ton front parts.
Nice starting point it should keep you challanged for a few minutes. Hey I bet you are one of those Oregon truck farmers from what I can see in the pics.
