Alright fellas I'm looking for some insight on the Livewire TS. I've searched for it on here and couldn't find much on it. (if you do by all means post link) I would like to get some insight on this programmer. How do you like it? How user friendly is it? Pros and cons? You name it I'd like to hear about it. Thanks
I have one, and to tell ya I don't think it was worth the money. The touch screen is touchy and it it doesn't read all the parameters that you need for our trucks .Go with scan gauge and a SCT down loader if that's why you are getting it.......my 2 cents
I'm also considering the Livewire TS, I read somewhere that there are analog inputs for sensors to be put on that the ECM doesnt read. If I went that route, would I be able to make it read all of the neccessary parameters?
Ellis, I will let you know in a few days. I pullled the plug and ordered the Livewire. From my understanding the only "necessary" parameters it doesn't pick up is fuel pressure.... it has an egt port ( I'll find out more Monday) But fuel pressure doesn't bother me to much since my rig is more of a cruiser than a worker.
It would be appreciated. im looking at the one Quick Tricks offers w/ egt probe. Vivian includes unlimited custom tunes w/ purchase. Definetly excited about an all in one unit, so I hope it works as well as we hope! Good luck and have fun!
Alright the out of the box review. Fairly large screen ( the size of my Droid Razr) Looks great( I know looks aren't everything) , light weight and updates are fast and simple. The expression my dad gave me. " I'll trade you trucks for a month" I did hook it up for a bit on the truck and played with the layouts and parameters and what not. Lots of option too many to list. And the screen is an "actual" touchscreen. Not heat sensed like most mobile devices. So to me the screen was natural since I own different touch devices. But so far so good any questions just ask. I'll give another review after I get my tunes and really get to play
