To start, I honestly don't know a whole lot about cars/trucks. But since ya'll do, hopefully you can help me!
My boyfriend has a 1976 F-250 Highboy that he's looking at selling. It's an awesome truck but definitely needs work. Knowing that, I'm not expecting the selling price to be very high, but we would like to get what is deserved.
He's looking at selling it to his friend for $1000 but I think he can get more. My boyfriend is too nice when it comes to selling things.. just looking for another opinion.
So I was wondering if you guys knew what something like that would sell for? It has a rebuilt engine but due to sitting for over a year, it will probably need to be gone through. I can get more information but just don't know what info is needed.
It's almost impossible to say without pics, it could be a $500 truck or a $5,000 truck, if you have pics feel free to post em up, you'll get tons of opinions here.
Hi, Kristen (Just my opinion & trying to help It depends on many variables. If the motor needs to be looked at it would be hard to get more than $1000.00 Simply because what is left is a parts truck.. I have had my 1977 Lowboy 4x4 F250 solid 351m w/35k, for sale for a few weeks. But with the few ugrades you may need to have it become a solid daily driver, it's hard to get more than $1800.00 Mine is up for $1600.00 and has a Dana 60 HD HOPE this post is helpful
-156,000 miles
-390 rebuilt engine from a '68
-Granny 4-speed
-4x4
-Hedman Headers
-working cablights
-new stereo and speakers with ipod hook-up
Needs:
-paint
-fuel gauge doesn't work
-12volt draw on the battery (probably from the stereo), so the battery has to be unhooked when not in use
-needs to be looked through.. it runs really good but could use TLC
