239 V8 waterpumps....

Does anyone recommend a certain water pump kit, or are they pretty much all the same. I kind of remember something about different types. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers...

I'm not sure about the kits, my pumps were pretty much rusted away, I got new aftermarket ones from napa. These had newer more modern bearings and seals, you can run the belts tighter, but the cost $93.00 each.

I think Dennis Carpenter sells a rebuild kit and a replacement water pump. I've got one that is leaking and probably will replace with one of theirs.

I bought two new ones from Dennis Carpenter with modern bearings and seals. They are installed but I have not drivin it yet .. I think they were $150
for the pair about a year ago.
