Hello everyone
Howdy, I'm new to the site. I just aquired my 1988 Ford F-150 about a month ago off of craigslist for $1,350, i couldn't pass her up, the guy who owned her before me inherrited the her from his father who bought her brand new in 1988. All his father used her fo was driving back and fourth to work, ad going fishing with her. I've always liked the older trucks, they seem to have more charecter to me for some reason. I didn't want a truck I was gonna have to worry about it gettig scratched up, trucks are meant to be used for working and playing out of in my opinion honestly. Since i bought her I've been tinkering around on her. So far I've put a brand new Better Built tool box on the back of her and a new seat cover on the bench seat in the cab, and a custom tag on the front with my nickname "JOCEPHUS" emblazoned on it. Her nickname is "DOOTZIE GIRL", I picked that name for her because my fiance is the one who bought her for me, my fiance's father called my fiance "DOOTZIE" when she was a little girl, so, I figured since she bought the truck for me, I'd name it after her. Anyway, I'm new here, I'm a first time Ford truck owner and thought it'd be cool to meet other like minded people who own a FORD TOUGH TRUCK! Gimmie a shout if you'd like to.
