Radiator overflow tanks
Never put one on my radiator. Oops. Summer commin'. Any suggestions and I assume the hose from below the cap goes in one side, but what goes on the other barb? A hose, but to where?

Radiator overflow tanks
The cap does that, Zoot. The tank needs a drain, and atmosphere to recirculate the overflow of coolant back into the radiator.

Aloha.

And if you have a stock truck with the big old surge tank atop the good clean radiator, you really don't need an overflow tank.

Not a problem Dean, the tube is 2" o/d, 12" long and another 1" to the top of the cap. The mounting bolts are 7.5" apart center to center. It fits perfectly on the fan mounting bracket.

Thanks, looks good too. Speedway has one like that. Where did you get that one and what's the make? Thanks, Dean

We used the same type of tank, mounted it on the drivers side. I think we got it from Summit, it was on the shelf for a long time.

I have not been able to find a 4 psi cap that allows recovery function? Stock rads don't like the 7 - 12 psi caps, ask me how I know...

O.K. I'll bite since I started the thread. Maybe an anti-freeze shower?
