I've read so many of these negative comments about the new 6.0 Powerstroke, that I'm a little worried about my $35K investment that I made about 2 weeks ago. I'm a Ford Truck man, because of experience. I've got a '91 Ranger 3.0 V-6 w/ 236K miles on it, and it runs like a top! I also have a '97 F-150 4x4 with the 4.6, and 110K miles on it, and I'm just as impressed with it. I've owned a Chevy.........I spent more money fixing it than I paid for it!! I recently purchased a new '03 F-250 XLT 4x4 Super Cab w/8' bed. I also have the new Torq Shift Automatic Transmission. I've put just over 1000 miles on it so far, and I have no complaints. No hesitations, lots of power, and smooth shifts with the tranny, and the tow/haul mode is impressive. I checked my fuel mileage today, and it came to right at 16 mpg. From what I've read, on here, the trouble can come as soon as 800 miles, so I don't at all feel comfortable yet, but I'm trying to be optimistic. I pull a 25 ft. gooseneck with hay and tractor, so it will truly be put to the test in a couple weeks. The only thing that I have a concern about so far, is when turning sharp on hard surfaces, if feels like the truck tries to bind up. I've never owned a truck with a 158" wheelbase, so I'm not sure if this is something common with the longer trucks, or if there is something wrong. If anyone could enlighten me on this, I'd appreciate it. This is the first diesel that I've owned, so I would like to know some of the things that I need to be paying close attention to, so that I can catch some of these common problems early, should something start going wrong.

I know there are some '03 Powerstroke owners out there that could use some good news about this new 6.0, if there is any, especially me.
