A sawzall. If you want to make it look purty slap on some Bushwacker cut-out flares. They're prone to get ripped off on the trail but they look good while they're on.
If you wanna get freaky enough with the sawzall you can pretty much fit anything with any lift.
Pro..,
You really like those Bushwacker flares? God I hate any of the big flares. I guess I've seen too many rigs with tires that wouldn't stick out anyway with big old honkin' flares and I think it looks so stupid. They are ok if you have wide enough tires to necessitate them.
Yea, I think those flares look fine....as long as they are filled up. Like you pointed out, they look dorky as hell if the tire isn't wide enough to fill 'em. Yea, 'old71 its just as simple as the old sawzall and a steady hand
You shoulda seen the hack job I done on this Chebby once. I had a 6" lift and I'm sure you know how small the wheel openings are on those (73-79). Anyway I just had to get the ole' 39.5's to fit so I started sawing away with no lines drawn or anything. Well when I got to all the rust that all them chebbies have (and this one had more than most) it started kinda tearing and ripping through the sheet metal.
I didn't really care as the truck was a 1500 dollar scrapper but I got so carried away when I did the back of the fender wells that I cut holes in the corner of the floorboard
