Just found your website while I was looking for intercoolers. I hope you don't mind me "crashing the party" just to get some help, but I figured you guys might be just the folks who could help.

I work for an OEM that builds amphibious vehicles based on the WW2 DUKW. Ours are powered by a remanufactured Powerstroke 7.3 We're not a big-time operation - we only build 4 or 5 a year - but it's a high-quality vehicle with full DOT and Coast Guard certification.

Anyway, we've been getting intercoolers from Ford, but now they say it's discontinued.The original application was 2002 F650 with 7.3, Ford XC3Z-6K775-BA.

The F650 seems to be a pretty rare beast, and not many people know much about it. I'm hoping someone knows of a source or some alternate part that would work. Any help you can provide will be genuinely apprecieated.

Where are you based out of?

Should be able to find an aftermarket solution with some dimensions..

 

I'm in Wichita, Kansas. The original supplier to Ford was Behr, and we've lucked out and found one they can supply for another year or two. Also, Bell intercoolers can repop it for a pretty decent price.
