help!!!

Hey guys, I have a 88 f350 7.3 non turbo, I got my timing together yesterday and replaced one of my injectors, the truck idles very smooth, but smokes some kind of bad, and whenever I put it in gear it kind of bogs down and smokes worse, it has a new ip on it, and doesn't apear to leak fuel too bad, it puts out mostly greyish white smoke, thought about injector orings, but I'm not sure anymore, any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

can you elaborate on "getting your timing together" ?
what led you to believe you had a failed injector, and only 1?

Well I had a crack in my gear cover, so I went to replace it and the gear kind of just flopped out, so I've been playing with that, but the threads on the top of the injector was stripped to hell, so it had to go, and it was pretty nastey when I pulled it out

ah i see.did you replace the one injector with a new, reman,or used? was it also the same code?
with one injector being in much better shape and or a different code than the other 7 are, that one cylinders timing is going to be off due to having a different pop pressure than the others.she might be smooth enough at idle, but hiccup and smoke down the road.ideally you want to replace the injectors together if they all have some high miles (and or look "nasty".)
some are actually very particular and try to tweak injectors using shims as close as possible (a bit unnecessarily imho for an idi,but it's not a bad idea.)
don't ya love it when one thing leads to another lol.

If you have your timing too far advanced it will make them smoke, it will also smoke at an idaling
