I went down to the local Pull-n-Save this weekend for the $30 all you can carry day. I picked up a set of DOVE-C heads for the sum of $15.(I split the $30 cost with my buddy) They are definately better than the D2VE heads I already have right? What are the different comp. ratios between the two? Thanx!
You'll notice a few big difference in combustion chamber shape. The D0VE-C heads will be around 72-75 cc's vise you D2VE's which are around 95-99 cc's. Plus you get the screw in studs for the valve train. If you build them up you will notice a very big difference in CR and performance between the heads.
Woohoo, and you can't beat the price either! I did notice the difference in the rocker/studs, they don't seem as cheap. I grabbed the pushrods too, I figured there may be a difference in those also. Too bad I just went through my motor a couple of months ago. Oh well, it's worth it!
