Hey yall! Its been a while since ive posted anything. I finished up my Dana 60 swap and finally got my truck on 35s and got a visor and cab lights. Ive been crazy busy with work and school thats why i havent posted anything.
But, i am starting to build a list of parts to come my way in the near future i am aiming for 400-425 rwhp. Nothing too crazy.
But here is what i got and a rough estimate of cost. This is also in the order that i will buy an install stuff because i dont have all the money for all the parts right now.
Let me know what yall think!
Rosewood Stage 2s $1200
T500 HPOP $450
E fuel $500 (i know 500 is cheap but i have a buddy)
Rifraff Arp head studs $550

detroit trutrac for traction $600
Looks pretty good. Your valair estimate is a little low if you need the clutch and flywheel, but other than that it looks good. Exactly what I want to do with my truck someday... You're in the Sac area arent you?
I think you should be good if you already have a smf. Have to give them a call. I thought you were a friend of Rob's. Couldnt remember though. You get all this done and you'll have to come up here and help me when I start working on mine
Will a Garret 38R turbo not work on the earlier 7.3's? And why do you need head studs. Upon planning the build of my own 2001 7.3 for up to 450 hp I was told no need for head studs. That was with 160/100's and a 38r turbo and ts 6 pos chip with highest setting being 140 hp. I was also told my stock hpop would work just fine.
