radiator mount
What is the brace/rail/mount that the radiator sits on thats connected to each side of the frame???? on a 1993 F150 5.0 XLT..its rusted through and I need to repair it

It's called,,,,,,,,,, wait for it.....Radiator support....

All kidding aside, that's what it's called.. I think I have heard it referred to as a core support also..

hey, I'm a big boy...stuff like that doesn't bother mer me..Been trying to find info, so thats why I ask..no biggie..Trying to find that support, where??? ROCK AUTO doesn't have it

Mine's rusted through too. Wish I could find one made out of something that won't rust.

Mines getting rusty too.This summer I may just tear off my whole front clip and replace radiator support plus my front fenders .Its a money thing

Very easy to find. Most rust repair panel places sell it, and Rock Auto does have a listing for it. It's $170, but shipping is ridiculous at $94 (to me in RI, may be less to other places).

I didn't realize rock auto charged so much for it. That sucks, I was going to try to replace mine soon but I can't pay that much.

shoot its been going on for awhile i think

i actually ordered fenders from them but they got damaged in shipping so I'm getting another set... both fronts shipped to my door for $200.. I'm not gonna complain

I'd like to do that too. Only rust I've seen on mine is the radiator support and a tiny spot on one fender.
