My basic issue is I have aleaf broken on each side. Just one. Truck rides fine, but any real load and the tires can touch the bed. I have the 8.8 from a CV right now.
I found a few F250s in the local pick and pull. But they are dent sides. I was hoping I can yank those and swap out. Getting a slight upgrade while i am there.
I have two days to get parts and complete swap in my driveway without air tools before towing a car to Michigan.
the dentside springs are longer (they have some sort of fulcrum on the end...i can't remember the name at the moment). i tried to find a pic but can't.
measure your springs, then measure the f250 springs. and look at the rear mount on the f250 leafs. you'll see the difference.
That is quite unfortunate. I was hoping they might work after seeing the thread here where a guy was installing them into his 65. I looked up the LMC parts book and saw the there was little difference in the 65-72 unless you had the Flex-O-Matic.
