Ive been looking at doing this to, but the prices im finding im leaning more to replacing the enite front of my extended cab. From what I have read here most years are interchangeable. So 800-1000 to redo my fronts on my 00, when I really dont like the layout. Im thinking about spending a little more and hitting up ebay for newer pull outs (05-08ish) which are true buckets with the center console.

2002 uses hog rings. They're really not hard to do. The Seat Shop sends them automatically, from what I remember (or they're just a couple of bucks). They can also send a pair of hog ring pliers. I already had a pair from re-upholstering an old VW Beetle I used to have.
