Reciever hitch question

I have a 2004 Ford F 150 and I was wondering if a reciever hitch off of a totaled 2006 would fit on my truck? Thanks

As long as its not the 2004 Heritage it should. My hitch said 2004-2008 on the box.

As long as it is not a heritage is right on. Hopefully the damage was on the other end of the pickup otherwise I'd rethink reusing the hitch. At the least use new hardware to bolt it on.
