Any CJ-4 oil will be fine. Everybody has their favorites....they all protect the engine well enough.

Like was said on a recent Youtube video I watched...The best oil is clean oil. As long as it is rated for your engine (CJ-4), you are good to use it.

OK then will 1 oil last longer than another oil as I like to go around 7k on oil changes. And that might take over a year as much as I drive my truck

I'm doing Blackstone analysis on mine, but I run Amsoil 10-15k miles with the Donaldson BHOF (ELF-7405).

Where are you located? Any CJ-4 oil will go 7K in our trucks in normal operation.

When it first came out, I think Amsoil was probably the best, but there have been such advancements in the synthetic oils over the years, that the difference is probably negligible now. I have no evidence to prove this, I just think there are several good oils out there, and I dont see how Amsoil can be that much better. I have run a used oil analysis on 8k mile Rotella T6 and it came back fine. That was with the Ford filter, I now run the Mobil 1 filter designed for extended drain intervals.

I change my T6 at 7500, but could probably go longer. I think the regular Rotella is fine too, but I would change it more like every 4000k.

No reason to not start running T-6...That is the reason I asked about location...if you get colder temps in the winter T-6 is perfect for you. Heck, T-6 is about right for anywhere.

I run Delo 400LE 5w-40 synth now and will run T6 on occasion, both at 7.5K intervals. Was running motorcraft 15w-40 dino at 5K intervals. Sounds like both intervals are conservative enough with todays quality oils. Using the motorcraft filter.

I like the quieter operation of synthetic, combined with the hutch/harpoon, suction side fuel line replace/pre-filter and FRx mods. Very smooth quiet (for a 7.3) operation in stock tune.

That is not a problem, totally OK. Just keep doing what you have been doing and you should have several hundred thousand miles to go before you begin to worry about engine wear.

Not sure. I usually go about 7-10k miles between changes on regular Rotella T or Motorcraft or Delo etc. If your truck doesn't see regular use then T6 (or something similar) might not be a bad idea. Even then, I'd change the oil once a year at a minimum. I change the oil on my truck about every four months so regular Rotella T does just fine.

The T-6 is perfect for you then...you will love it on the cold morning starts! You don't need any special oil filters, the Motorcraft would be more than adequate for your one-year/7K change interval. The Donaldson BHOF (Big Honkin' Oil Filter) will go on without modification, I believe.
