Need help Identifying body panel section
It is a box shape under the right fender next to the door hinge post that serves to take fresh air into the inside cab air duct from the cowl.
Looking for replacement panel section if available.
I believe it may be called the passenger side inner cowl panel, or cowl panel assembly. Is that correct?
Can anyone verify that or know another name for it?
Is this section available as a body panel? I can't seem to find anything that looks like it anywhere.

Try NPD (npdlink.com) or head over to Fordification.com
Fordification will have these same pics, as they're taken from the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog.

I have already patched that cowl section and it turned out pretty well.
I have ordered a mustang Steves ball bearing conversion kit for the worn out clutch brake pedal assembly and installed it and very pleased with it.
I am now in the process of replacing the lower steering column bearing
F23Z3517B and I suppose I need the rubber sleeve C6TZ-3518-A.
The original bearing dimensions are 3/4" i.d. x 1-3/16" o.d. x 1/4" width.
The metal retainer cup is a little larger about 1-5/16" to allow room for the
rubber sleeve that installs over the bearing. Those parts cannot be bought from a local parts retailer.
Been wondering if I can fabricate a different size lower bearing retainer metal cup and do away with the original bearing F23Z3517B and the rubber sleeve C6TZ-3518-A and instead use a more readily available radial sealed ball bearing that has a larger diameter outer race.

My lower column had the correct F23Z-3517-B .. Lower Steering Column Bearing races missing the ***** and also missing C6TZ-3518-A .. Lower Steering Column Bearing Sleeve.
Strange thing is it had a upper column B1AZ-3518-A nylon sleeve up against the lower inner bearing race.
I have been scratching my head trying to figure that one out.
I think I need to remove and leave out that nylon sleeve when I re-assemble with the correct parts as shown in the diagram above there is no nylon sleeve on the lower column. Only the bearing, bearing retainer, and clamp.
I think someone must have put that there before I bought the truck.
My lower column had the correct F23Z-3517-B .. Lower Steering Column Bearing races missing the ***** and also missing C6TZ-3518-A .. Lower Steering Column Bearing Sleeve.

B1AZ-3518-A sleeve used with upper and lower bearings in many applications. See 1964/72 truck parts catalog pic for examples.
Both C3DZ-3517-A bearing & B1AZ-3518-A sleeve are available from Ford. So that's where Carpenter and etc are buying them from.
And btw: Your truck did not come with F23Z-3517-B bearing originally, because this is an updated Ford part number. Replaced: C3AZ-3517-A - C7SZ-3517-D - D0AZ-3517-A - D4TZ-3517-A & B - E1FZ-3517-B
Also fits 1981/97 Escort/Lynx, 1984/97 Tempo/Topaz and a gazillion other applications dating back to 1963 Galaxies.

They both are rubber bearing sleeves for different years and models.
They look the same, just not sure if their the same size.
Do you have any idea?

invalid part numberThey both are rubber bearing sleeves for different years and models. They look the same
(in person or in pics?), just not sure if their the same size. The C6TZ-3518-A (1" I.D. x 15/32" thick) sleeve part number was never replaced by another part number, like the lower bearing was.
It was only used as the LOWER bearing sleeve in 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/250 4WD / 1973 F100/250 4WD before serial number S40,001 / 1972/73 Bronco's with P/S.
Not used with 2WD's, not used in Passenger Cars.
What are the chances of you obtaining one of the three NOS C6TZ-3518-A's I listed in post #10? If you wait too long, one or all may be sold. Once I list obsolete part numbers/sources, some parts go bye bye PDQ
