I deciphered it using the Ford Master Parts books...I got the same info as the above link...one possible variable...the sequential build date is the same as is used on the F series trucks which also comes out as a July 1965 Build date...its possible that the E series had a different setup for the build date info.

BTW...Im not sure if black shirts had also added the rest of the warranty plate data or not, but the info for the whole tag came up...

We found through years of folks across the country crawling under Econolines that the serial numbers did not line up exactly as the Ford Parts Book. The problem was around 1964 and 1965. The website is what eh Econo experts all agree on.
