Possible bad ground???
I just installed a rear camera in my 2000 V10 4x4 Ex. I tried 2 different power sources and 2 different grounds and I still get engine lines in my video feed. I work for Comcast so I used a good quality shielded coax for mt video feed. I know my battery cables need replacing. Could a bad grounded battery cable be causing my lines in my video?

You can put a low pass inline filter in the positive cable. What back up camera did you get? Most are cheapish quality and just tend to go bad. You can read about this all over amazon review boards. Most cameras either come bad or go bad in about 9 months. Mine did this, but at $50 I can replace it once a year or so. I'd rather not, but unless someone can point me to a brilliant camera, its my only solution lol

@A/O- it's a cheapo from eBay. Perfect until u start truck.
I have found a video inline filter for the hum bars. Probably gonna order it but I will still try the above.
