I'm surprised they don't. My Tundra had one, Corvette has one. After a year they get dirty. I never thought much about their function until I saw how much dirt they collect, which would have gone into the evaporator coil!

There is a section in the manual "Air Distribution and Filtering" but the first line says it all 
Air Distribution and Filtering
NOTE: The air distribution system of this vehicle cannot be equipped with a cabin air filter.
I have no idea why.......

If I can find the intake, then I might just make a filter of some kind to wrap over it. It would be cheaper than taking it to the dealer to have the coil cleaned in a year or two. I don't understand it either.
