NumberDummy Help Needed
Bill, I have the Ford Truck Parts catalog you suggested getting but have not found it useful because the indexes are numbered and do not have descriptions. The text is not search-able so in have not been able to find anything. Suggestions on how to navigate would be appreciated.
I am looking for the diagram of the speedometer for my 64 F100. I want to see it there are any repair parts listed. My speedometer is broke and I suspect it is the rear bushing.

I put aftermarket gauges in my 64 if you need a 64 speedo I believe mine works and if I can remember where it is you can have it all you have to do is pay the shipping. If not no biggie.

Illustration Sections: 10 = wheels/spare tire carriers/brakes / 30 = steering / 40 rear axle / 50 frame/exhaust/rear suspension / 60 engine / 70 M/T / A70 A/T / 80 cooling/grille / 90 fuel / 100 generator/alternator/instrument cluster/starter/ignition related / 120 distributor / 130 lamps/related switches/wiring/misc / 160 front end sheet metal/Flareside rear fenders/bedside running boards / 174 wipers/mirrors/bumpers/heater/A/C
Text similar, but there's individual sections for wheels (10) / brakes (20) / generator/alternator/instrument clusters (100) / starter/ignition related (120) / wiring (140) / misc (150) / speedo/mirrors/bumpers (170) heater/A/C (180).
Basic part numbers shown in illustrations, to get the complete number, look in the apropos section in the text. Speedo head basic part number 17255 ~ listed in Text-Section 170 ~ Page 3.
Sometime after April 3rd, I'll be posting parts catalog pics/text, misc other jazz.
