Need help

I have a 94 ford f350 factory turbo non powerstroke. We put a new injector pump in the truck. It had a exhaust leak so we put some sealent on it. Got the truck running and drove it down the road and the turbo was working wonderful. Now the exahust leak is back and the turbo isnt working at all. My question is could the exahust leak make the turbo not work??

You put sealant in the exhaust? You didn't replace the exhaust gaskets?
The turbo is powered by the exhaust, the worse the leak the less the turbo's output.

It is leaking where the exahust manifold from the diver side slides around the turbo we couldnt find a gasket for it at any parts store around here. its like the turbo is spinning but there is no boost.
