Stop using starter fluid, ether, or any aerosol on the intake. When these enter the combustion chambe they can be ignited by glow plugs and explode, causing major damage to your engine and you.
Yes I have all the gauges no check engine light, I do have a scanner no codes, I pulled the cap of the top fuel filter full. Ficm was replaced 8k ago. How would I check it?
Was head to start in town but it did start and ran great coming home.
Went out and truck started right up several times, took it out an drove it about 15 miles to get it hot.
Came home put it in the garage an no start again. Was told that it is probably the oil seals from the fuel rails that drain back into the heads thus not holding pressure for start when hot. I drove it pretty hard and the truck runs great over halve way on the oil pressure no codes.
Think I will go and have a cold one. Thanks for the help. Any thoughts on this?

You'll need something like a Scanguauge II. From there you can see IPR voltage ICP psi.
Being its an '05 look up STC fitting.
With out the gauges or a scan tool a guess would be because you said hot no restart
SCT fitting and/or stand pipe and dummy plugs.
The IPR valve is under the turbo and the ICP sensor is on the passenger side valve cover.
Remove the plug from the ICP sensor and try to star when hot. Report back and
come on other the 6.0l forum.
