55 F100 Driver
I have a 55 F100 and I have been wanting it to be a driver. Right now I have a mustang II front, power brakes and steering with a new fuel tank. I installed bear claw latches, a 302 with a C4. I know the truck has some rust in the cab corners and floor and doors. The guy I got it from did a great job of trying to make these areas look good. I knew what he had done but you really can't tell it until you look under the truck. After I put the bear claws in the doors fit great. Truck is solid and runs great. I waht to insall one piece side windows along with new glass (side and back windows are now plexiglass) and making the side windows power.I plan on placing a 4 bar rear with coil overs and new box with new cab mounts. I am doing this on a tight budget (don't we all). My point is should I do the mods now and then the body and paint last. I want it to look good but not be affraid to drive it.
I think anything I do know can be keep when the body is fixed. Any ideas would be great as this is my first try at this and I want to do this the right way.
