Anyone Use a AFE/CAI on 5.0?

I've been considering putting a CAI on my truck. Had an Airaid on last truck and it made a huge difference with Corsa Exhaust (2010 Avalanche with 5.3 dog engine; and it completely changed with these two mods)

Anyway, the guy who did my custom exhaust really likes the AFE Stage 2 and so does the service manager at the dealership.

Looking for those who have done this..

Thanks

I have also thought about this same thing for a long time and gotten many opinions on here. I decided to stay will a stock intake as it flows just as well. Is a couple ponys worth a few hundred bucks? I put my money somewhere else in the truck and made some cosmetic changes that actually get noticed. It's all up to you. AFE, Airade or Volant (which i would recommend) will all do pretty close to the same. Personally, I would use the money for a tuner if you don't have one already. That was the best performance mod I have done to my 5.0

Thanks, and I have been thinking about a Tuner from More Power Tuning.

Have a look at 5 star tuning. Many people on these forums use them as well as me and my brother and they are very good tunes. Mike is the guys name that does the tunes. He talks on here too.

Roush also makes a CAI for the 5.0

F150 Cold Air Intake Induction Kit for the 5.0L- V8 Engine (2011-2013)

As well as an exhaust system

F-150 Exhaust for 6.2L /5.0L/3.5L (2011-2013)

I plan to put both of these on my 2013 and then go with a new tune from JDM Engineering.

I ordered the AFE Stage 2 from Auto Anything $255.00 delivered. Couldn't pass up on the price. Last truck I had, the CAI and Corsa exhaust really helped. We'll see....
