Hey guys i am from MS and i am working in ND and my Truck(2003 6.0) is in MS. Well last year i did replace the injectors with 155's, installed a BP system with with cold weather/race package, new top end gasket set, New IPR, new valve stem seals and lapped the vavles to make sure they were seating properly(succeeded), Blue Spring mod, SCT tuner with Extreme-X/Race/Street tunes, and cleaned the hell out of everything including a coolant flush. Also picked up a new res cap just to be on the safe side. I installed all of this successfully and the truck ran good. Only things i noticed were a little high idle(+150rpm). At the time i did this stuff while i could at work in ND. I then began traveling home to MS and by the time i got to SD i had so much fuel dilution over the past week of driving the truck by turbo shaft split and i had to purchase a new turbo. I changed the oil every 300 miles to make it home with the truck. The truck has been home since but i have a new job now and don't have the time to troubleshoot, much less work on it. Do any of you know a shop that you trust in the South Central MS area? Oh i also replaced all injector seals when i got the truck home as well as checked the cups. The dilution isn't quite as bad now but i am still getting some.. (1-3%) if i had to guess. From prior knowledge all i can figure is bad cups/cracked head since i replaced all of the seals very very carefully. Furthermore, i have no white smoke, no hesitation or stalling, truck is running VERY strong and gets around 20-22 HWY. Any comments will be appreciated.
One afterthought... i replaced stand pipes and High pressure oil lines(the stainless lines going from the stand pipes to the rail) when i did the work the first go round. I have done all the work on my truck myself other than swapping out that turbo.. But that's pretty simple and i don't think that can be messed up too much. I absolutely love my 6.0 and i am particular about who touches her lmao. So if anyone has any info on who would be delicate and thorough PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST YOUR KNOWLEDGE BELOW. come on guys.
