Was that the ferry at Hummels Wharf (or Millersburg on the eastern shore) on Route 15 between Lewisburg and Selinsgrove?

That is neat you took that. I must have driven by that 1000 times from going back and forth to college and then going home to see my parents in Lancaster after I started teaching and I never took the ferry!

That's a picture I found on the net. I'm sure we have pictures we took somewhere. It was a fun ride just for the historic value. I think it.was.$3 a person each way.

Almost 10 years and finally brought the box home..
found out that it's an old HORMEL delivery box made by Ebenhoh body shop in Sleep Eye Minnesota.
Same company that built air streamed vehicles in the 1930s.
I plan to restore the box but not a 100% accurate restoration ...the hormel lettering will be redone.

Its a cool box.. deserves to be fixed..the art was made by a famous graffiti artist/muralisy from LA..
I'm thinking of saving those panels for wall art and replacing them with AL sheets.

I would definitely save those Panels with the murals on them. Your kids, grandkids or whomever may REALLY thank you one day, could be worth something even today if not in the future!

I would like to see a nicely restored stock truck. I don't think I've ever seen a totally stock box truck.
