Hello all I'm new here. I have a question about an 06 expedition. At slower speeds, around 40-45 , the transmission wants to jump. It's like it doesn't know if it wants to drop down a gear or stay in od. It hasn't done this in the past ,it was bought new and has 110,000 miles on it. Any ideas on what it could be ? I've already changed the filter and replaced the lost fluid. Should I have it all replaced ? Any tips are welcome.
I haven't thought about that , and the plugs do need to be changed. Was ordering the broken plug extractor before I did because I've heard of so many people having problems breaking the 2 piece plugs off in the head. I'll try it , thanks for the suggestion

Ryan's probably right here but remember that Ford recommends changing ATF every 35 k or so. I would make sure you do the same as you did every 50k or so if light towing. Plugs should be changed at 100 k max.

Excellent point. The ATF and filter should be changed. That is good maintenance.
Thank y'all for your help. Changed the plugs , and I believe that was the cause. More driving will tell. I ended up only breaking 2 of the plugs , but I had already bought the lisle extracting tool , and it was simple to use and the ends came out with ease.
Thanks again
