Hi guys,I'm from Edenwold near Regina.Found this site by accident but I got a couple old Ford pickups and this looks like a good place to hang out.The family has had a few over the years and I have been finding the odd one to bring home.I've been working on a 32 tudor which runs and drives although it's missing paint and interior.I found a 40 pu for my fiancé(that was the excuse for buying it)and for Christmas I found myself a minty 32 pu cab,but what I've allways wanted was a 56.I managed to find a couple big trucks to start with.I want to build a welding truck I can use when I am working around home.I figure if I start on this I will eventually find myself a pickup.
A lot of good info and such here, hope I can contribute.
Thanks Dave
P.S.Does anyone build a 460 powered snowblower I can borrow?
Thanks guys...
Blew mine up last week,Had to build some parts for it.When I had it upside down,I found a 1976 date stamped. No wonder no one has parts! LOL
But it should be good for another 30+ yrs or so now.....
Napa may have your parts.
I have been using my Bobcat, the 8 ft snow banks around here now are almost as hard as concrete from all that wind we had last week.
What is your red truck, a 71?
I think it is a 70.It belongs to my buddies grampa,he bought it new and it still gets used once in a while. Not to many old workin trucks left like that one.The weldor is a year older,he bought it new too.
Can you guys see those? All I can see is x's...
Well I can't see any thing but x's and numbers.I tried to load another pic with same results. They were there yesterday then something happened.I just read the guide but never had this problem before with pics.
