hey guys, i am a new member on here, but am a powerstrok.org supermoderator....i have an e99 f-350 dually with stage 2s, a D66, FRx, leveling kit, 305/70/16s, intake, 6" stacks, built motor and trans, methanol, and custom tuning from PHP....
I am in need of bellowed up pipes for my truck...BUT since its early 99 i have to pay an ungodly amount...there is a member on here name JOCAREN...
and he has a set of the up pipes i want, but i cannot get him to respond to the thread. I have money in hand wanting to buy them. i cannot PM him because i dont have that capability. I have responded to his thread twice and even posted on his profile. can someone pm him for me and let him know about me wanting the up pipes? thanks a TON.
And a question for you DIY-ers....
if this were to not work out and I cannot get the e99 bellowed pipes from him, can I buy the later 99 and up bellowed pipes and cut them down a bit and weld them back to convert them to the e99 length? do you know how much the difference is between the two sets?
yeah i figured that, but one pipe is basically straight, and one pipe is not really straight at all, but has a straight section in it. was wondering if you cut the non straight piece, where you would cut it and would that change the location of the manifold mounting point any....
new to diesels so not sure about these pipes buy if its just mild steel what about taking the old ones off and asking a exhaust shop to bend up some new ones? i used to do exhaust in a shop for reg autos and show we could bend up some crazy stuff to fit in tight places . i would pm him but not sure how to find him to do it on here also a new user
