First, welcome to the forum.
Second, it is helpful to know what engine you have, how many miles, and any major modifications it has. You can see the vital info for many of our trucks in our signatures.
OK, now the first thing you should do is check the fuel pressure with a gauge. If you do not have one, they can generally be rented at an auto parts store. You should have around 30-40 psi at idle.
