clicking during hard braking

clicking during hard braking
When ever I hit my brakes hard or somewhat hard, i get a fast clicking noise in my truck until i finally come to a stop. Does anyone know what the problem might be if there is even a problem?

Where is the clicking coming from, can you tell? Front or rear? You should try and isolate the wheel that it is coming from and then when you get a chance, pull it off and check the brake components.

Sounds like ABS. First time it happened to me it freaked me out.
Now I just don't follow so closely.
I don't know about the 2000 models, but my '98 came equipped with RABS (rear only ABS) and the clicking sound comes from the driver's side wheel well.

I hear it very clearly in my 2000 with RABS, I don't drive the 2002 with 4wABS so I don't know what that sounds like. Since it raining today try locking the brakes up and see if you hear it.
