Possible engine swap - newbie
I'm completely new to the specifics of doing an engine swap and apologize ahead of time if my question seems sillly.
I have a 1994 F250 with the 7.5L gas engine and automatic transmission that I need to sell. A friend (who is pretty computer illiterate) has a 1992 F150 with a manual that he'd like to put the 7.5L into.
He's found a bit of preliminary information that indicates this swap is doable, but needs more specifics before committing. Specifically, he was asking about the electrical hook-ups needed and if the engine would mate up to the manual gearbox in the '92.
I'm sure this information isn't specific enough for a complete answer, but I don't know excatly want information you folks would need. So, let me know what particulars are needed and I'll get them.
Thank you in advance for your help - I'm really in a jam here and appreciate any information more than you realize.

What manual tranny is in the 1992, and what engine is in it now?
The 7.5L (460) has an externally balanced crankshaft, and you'd at the very least, need a 460 flywheel for the manual tranny unless the 1992 already has a 460 in it.
As for electrical stuff, I can't personally say, someone else will have to chime in with that info
