Now that it's been mentioned, I do rember the wheel wells being oddly farther back, And yes the rear fuel tank was rather large. It's kindly a shame the condition it was in, but what you you expect after 40 years of service. I do imagine it has been sitting for quite some time, the tire tread design dates back. I tried to buy the whole/ what was left of the truck, but the yard does not sell whole vehicles. I am hoping to go back and pull the booster, and find the gumption to pull the rear axle...$110, may just be worth it.

The S/CS's Dana 70 is the same as any other 1967/79 F350 uses, it's just set back further.
