front dually axle
Hey guys im looking for an axle to match my current rear axle and was wondering if you could help me out. I currently have a 1990 dually axle with 410 gears and id like to pick up a front one with 4x4 to match it. If you have anything like this laying around and you are in Wisconsin or one of the surrounding states let me know and hopefully we can work something out

Hang on Brad, I'll help you out here.
Start by going to craigslist, and search for what you're looking for. And then, if you don't find it, call/visit a junkyard and see if they have one. Chances are, one of the two will have what you are looking for.
By asking on here, you're going to get the answers we just gave you. If anybody has one of those in the area that they want to part with, I'd be surprised. But by searching in the places that we all know will have one, you will end up with one. You're welcome for our "rudeness" in trying to help you find what you're looking for. If he had a problem, he would have said there was a problem, wouldn't you think?

you do look for them in places for sales of course as mentioned,however im not sure why others are not helping you figure out why you can't seem to find one in those correct places.
it's easy to say "it's not my problem" but why post? hardly worth the effort lmao.
first off,don't ask for a front dually axle.what you need is front D60 axle found on the SRW 4wd trucks.
to have it accept the DRW rims so it all matches and so you only need to carry one spare tire,are a set of DRW 4wd specific hubs.
you can find the whole thing complete,but since ford never offered a 4wd dually pickup pre-'99 you'll only find them from the f350 cab n chassis.
this is why your having difficulty.
alternatively,you can just buy arrowcraft front aa4 series adapters like i run.they bolt right on to any d50/d60 (2wd or 4wd) and have them accept the dually rims.
my f250 w/d50 sporting arrowcraft drw adapters;

that'll get ya going.of course a 2wd to 4wd conversion requires much more fab work than this,that'll resolve the issues your having locating the parts you need anyway.
if you need a lower sitting 4wd truck like me (for ease of loading and best fuel economy) the same info applies using a ttb d50 in place of a d60 but they require much more maintenance and most do not prefer them.they are much cheaper to buy though.

No such this as a dually axle, it's the same with SRW. What makes the differenceis the hubs & drums (or rotors).
Look in any Ford truck parts catalog for a listing for a specific F250/350 DRW axle...Lotsa luck, cuz there isn't one.
DieselBrad: Asking for parts wanted in threads is AOK, selling parts in threads is a no no.
I've probably typed over 20,000 posts in response to members asking for parts in threads.
