upgrade to stock touchscreen
does anybody know if it is a plug n play situation if i got the factory touch screen radio and wanted to install it. i have a 12 xlt 4x4 with a factory cd satellite radio with sync

Just my personal opinion based on a few stereo installs and currently having the MFT in a 13' f150...... I think you could avoid a great deal of hassle and BS and get more amenities by having a shop install an aftermarket NAV/SAT/CD touch screen and it may be cheaper ! 
Ebay has a used MFT console for $1299 ! Yikes, you could get a bada$$ aftermarket unit for around half that installed.
