89 ranger project
i just picked up an 89 ranger with a 2.3 4 cyl, 5spd 4x4 for cheap it was sitting for close to a year before i got it. it started with a little work, but it run pretty rough, the timing belt was off a tooth and pretty dryrotted and cracked so i replaced it.
i put in 4 spark plugs before realizing it had 8. it starts really easy now but is still running pretty rough. im going to check the egr and iac tomorrow. does anybody else have any other ideas what else to check out?
i have no experience working with efi most of my other trucks have been carbed 70s v8s and a couple of carbed 83 rangers.
