Looks like its something serious, Im not at truck im getting info over the phone.
theres already been a motor replaced I think this truck is going to go to the big steel pile in the sky..................or wherever POS trucks go!
It's always a sad day with you have to put a faithful truck/car to sleep.
Now the junker that is and always has cost an arm and a leg that is a
different story.
On this one you could just drop in a used motor and sell it to get some $$ back out.
If the body is good and the only problem is the engine.
Just a thought.

I was buying it and the price was just OK.
But without a engine it turns things around the guy wants the same price because its got a nice factory flatdeck on it and some nice tires.
He says the value is still there but to me it snt by the time I put another engine in it.
To bad, its not a bad looking truck.

You're condemning the truck simply because there's a chance it would need a new engine? How 'bout some diagnosis first? A clogged PCV system could cause the same thing and cost $10 to fix!
Tom's right I gave the worst case scenario because the
simple fixes were already listed. Check it out with a good diagnosis.
May be the $10 fix is what you need.
