Interior trim

I don't know the specific name for the trim but it is the trim that runs across the dash and onto the doors. How do you take that trim off the doors?
Truck is a 1992 f150 xlt

You dont. It is part of the door panel. Once you take it off, you break the ONE TIME plastic **** that are there. Then you will be gluing the trim back on

You can remove the door panels, remove the backing and then gently pry up the tips with a pair of pliers. the pieces are plastic on the dash but metal on the doors. Be careful as although the tips are metal, you can break them off if you move them around too much.

Both of u are right. What color of moulding is it ? There is a metal one and a plastic one. The plastic one is melted to the door panel ( like a plastic spot weld )

the trim strip that runs across the dash and on the doors is metal on the door. The tabs are small square metal ones that are pushed down to hold the trim on the door panel. Take a pair of pliers and raise the tabs and then you can remove the trim strip. If you have an XLT the strip is usually silver but can be black.
