trailing arms/links

I was told yesterday that I need to replace the rear tie rod ends on the rear end of my Explorer. I saw where you can buy the whole arm and replace them as a single piece, so I was wondering how difficult is it to do to replace them?

I'm sorry, it is a 2002 XLT with the independent suspension.

The rear toe links are pretty easy to replace. The toughest part will be getting the tapered tie rod end out of the knuckle. After you replace them, you'll want to get the truck aligned as well.
