99 E150 Conversion Van Gauge Pod

I'm looking to put an oil pressure gauge, vacuum and water temp gauge in my van. would an F150 or F250 Triple gauge pod fit?

On the headliner between the visors or along the left side A-Pillar?

To my eye the overhead is preferred as its out of my sight lines to crap in the road I might hit!

If you're the type who wants to continually monitor the gauges left A Pillar mount would be preferred. Since its just a glance down and to the left its better in that situation.

Auto Meter makes the best looking ones IMHO but they arrive in black, paint to match your interior. They're a bit odd in their online catalog, many items fitting Ford F- or E series somewhat hidden in the Dodge category.

I've fitted the #10817 triple gauge overhead pod to my E250 as a quick test and its near perfect for me. There is a quad gauge pod, #18018 is a bit too wide for completely stock operation of the visors--not sure if that many gauges is ever needed overhead. (Incidentally I have a #18108 no longer needed up for sale--PM me if interested.)

Anyway hope this helps!

Will love to see those photos------and your impressions of the A Pillar mounting after you've driven with it in place for a while.

Thanks!

You had much time driving city and/or freeways to get an impression of it, how it affects your view?

With my '03 E250 the A pillar grab handles pretty much exclude one of those---overhead or nothing for me!

Man that's an understatement huh? First time I saw the spark plug arrangement on a modular motor I darn near crapped--WTH was that? Since then though its easier and far less daunting wrenching on it---with a bit of help from the guys here at FTE too!

It doesn't look to be in the field of view-----personally for me it would be a bit strange but like most things easy to adapt too I'm sure.

Looking good--thanks for the follow up!
