They aren't chips, at least not in the traditional sense because the new computer box is not chippable. Rather, they attach externally and increase injector pressure (ie, more fuel). This is the same type of device used on Cummins engines. They work but unfortunately don't do a thing for the transmission.
A full fledged Predator programmer is in the works with Diablo right now. If its first to market, it'll be the only device that actually reprograms the new 6.0L PCM.
