Pulling a 4.6 engine
I'm getting ready to lift a 1997 4.6 windsor engine out of a 2wd truck. Everything is unhooked and it is just sitting there. Going to use a "load leveler" as well. Does anyone know what holes on the engine I should use to connect to? Thread size of the holes that are expose? Maybe I should just wrap a chain around the engine?

On my 5.4L I used two of the tranny mount holes, they are threaded all the way through so I just used the inside part that was under the manifold. For the front I am pretty sure I used 2 of the manifold mounting holes. I also used a leveler, really came in handy because I had to tilt the 5.4L so far to get it out then had to level back up to get it over the front of the truck. I have lifted engines by strapping the exhaust manifolds before, harder to use a leveler then though. I probably used the bolts that came out of the holes I used originally.
