motor problems 2
I had made a post in the past called motor problem. what ppl told me it spark or fuel. so tonight i replaced the fuel filter. i also tried to find out which one it was so hooked up a spark tester and fuel pressure gauge. So i let it run for about 30 minutes or so. the fuel psi idealing was 34 to 32 once i turned the motor off and turned the key on it had 38 psi. i am not sure what the psi should be. while it was idealing the motor did die but started right back up. In the past it wouldn't do that it would take about 10 minutes to start back up. since it wouldn't do what i wanted it to do. i decided to take it for a drive. i don't know if any of this is connected when i put it into gear i lost 1 volt not sure if that's a big deal or not. once i backed out i noticed the brakes were real touchy. then i made it about 1/3 of a block then it died my battery was dead. tomorrow i am going to get the battery and the alternate tested.
