OK everyone, the time is here to make some decisions and for that I need some information from you. I'll decide in a week so please give me your input as soon as you read this...
First, the good news...
I previously mentioned there would be $0 for beer, that's still true. BUT, I do have some *cough* left over beer from last year we can recycle.
One addition to the original invite: If you know someone who owns a Ford but isn't a member here, you can invite them. But they can't invite anyone since they aren't a member of the CO chapter (the greatest ford-trucks chapter that ever lived). Obviously, your family/SO is welcome to come with you or a friend but let's keep this to a FORD TRUCK turnout. I'm also going to try to get a banner here from the web site.
OK, as for when and where...
I know we discussed Aug 31. I've looked at the calendar and this is Labor Day weekend, which I don't think will be good for a turnout. But I still want your input...
Does Aug 31 st work better for you or Sept 7?
Give me in put on those two dates please.
As for the place...there are some pros and cons. A park is a nice idea. I went to two of the parks that I would have this at and checked them out. Both places offer several shade trees, some tables, and basic amenities.
The first park, Acacia Park (aka North Park) in downtown CoS, is not as nice as Antler's Park near downtown. We can't rent out Acacia so it's first come, first served as for tables and the areas we would want. We can reserve Antler's Park, it is very nice, in a quiet area, has MANY covered tables and bathrooms.
Both parks do not allow any fires for cooking and there is no drinking in public.
That being said, the choices for where we have this are:
in a park?
at my house (like last year)?
The number of people who tell me they are coming will help me decide what park to get, if we go that route.
***---------------------------------***
To summarize, please let me know your preference:

RIKIL: How about both? Start off at a park to meet up and check out everyones ride then drive to your house for grub and booze... oh and burnouts LOL
There are several other parks other than busy/ghettobum Acaica park that are centrally located. Palmer Park, Wasson Park, Hillside Park, Prospect Lake
I don't have any friends who are a member of FTE. But everyone who came with me last year DOES own a F series truck (or two). I'll prob bring my gf this year, she doesn't even own a ford, though. :|
Anything works for me.

Thank everyone for the responses, I got several PMs as well as the responses here.
So here's how it's going to go down:
Who: You and trucks
What: Meet in the city, take a short drive, go to my house for the 'fun' part
Where: Colorado Springs, my house address to follow
When: Saturday, September 7 @ 3 PM
Schedule:
As for drinks, I will have soft drinks and some beer - oh, and there's always whiskey at the house
I have plenty of space for everyone so I don't think any chairs are needed.
Kids are welcome, just as last time.
Did I miss anything?

When: Saturday, September 7 @ 3 PM
Schedule:
- 3 PM - meet at Garden of the Gods park (when I figure out where we can park all our trucks, I'll give a specific location - I don't think they want us all at the visitor's center). We'll hang out here for a bit in the open space and attract attention from any chevy drivers (a.k.a 'punks' ).
- 3:20 - 3:30 - Surprise
- 3:30 - Take a drive through Garden of the Gods
- 3:45 - 4:00 - Go to my house and "Make some fun"
