New truck
My buddy is looking at an 08 f-250 6.4L with 73k miles I've always owned 6.0 and don't know too much about the 6.4 he wants me to come take a look at it with him. It has a clean oasis but what should I be looking for as far as motor is concerned?

Get pictures or a link if it is at a dealer.
Coolant level and leaks.
Look at the radiator seams and along the frame by the tow hooks. Rust or white splatter.
Look thru the drivers wheel well at the EGR coolers.

If it is close by then I'd go look at it. No pictures of the motor. Need to see what that looks like.
If you look at the tail pipes they are not clean. Anything 08 and up should have pretty clean tailpipes. If not then it is because it has a tuner or something is wrong.
So pictures of the exhause under the passenger side is needed. There should be a cat and DPF and then the muffler under there.
Since it has a lift on it I check the front end components just to make sure all is tight.
30K is about what I think it is worth.
