A relative of this IDIOT: About a year ago, the San Berdoo pick-a-part yard had a 1973 F250 4WD (High Boy) Crew Cab.
No apparent damage or rust, rear doors and tailgate were flawless. Had a HUGE step bumper with a winch on it...located at the front of the truck, replacing the original chrome front bumper.
You could do what Dave (garbz2) did. He moved from PA, the "road cone capital of the world" .. to Arid-Zona.
Yes, and then before you leave to go west you sell your crew cab to a guy in york who apparently sells it to someone else and then they rob most of the good parts and then sell it to Crazed Bronco.
Of course once here i have the pick of rust free goodies like the pair of absolute rust free rear 67 to 72 crew doors Bill found me at a salvage yard in socal......

Thanks Bill!
Yea that's about the story I got out of it from the guy I got it from. Not sure if it was 2 or 3 people that had it before it fell in my hands by surprise. But she was totally different looking by time I got it and seen how far along you had it. Garbz are you near that yard at all? I'd really like to find someone that will visit the yard and get them doors for me. Anyone?
I need to do the move out west myself. All the fooling around with these rusty piles here would save me tons of time and money starting with a clean truck base from out that way.
^ well let's see er you can't mention the words on this site (I have a crew cab) and not show pics haha. Where you located how much more details on the truck?
