Help!

I have an 89 f250 with 351. It starts n runs fine, but once it warms up n I shut it off. I have to wait for it to cool down to restart. I have changed battery, engine coollng sensor n fuel filter. Help

does it ever die and not restart until it cools down,or just after you shut it off? sounds like it might be the ignition control module or PIP sensor in the distributor.
