oxygen sensors
Then one day I cross checked the numbers off the original with the numbers on the new one. Supposedly not compatible with my truck. Then I called my local Ford dealer and was told that sensor was no longer made, or available. Nor could this dealer even order me a compatible one. They did however give me the correct part number. So I found some old ford stock online with this number. Ordered it and got an old box with the correct number on it. The sensor inside had a different number than the box or what I ordered.
So after researching o2 sensors for probably 100 hours, I've come to the conclusion that most narrow band sensors do the exactly the same thing.
Through multiple web sights you can ultimately cross reference your self in to
any sensor out there.
So my question is "What the hell are the differences in narrow band oxygen sensors and why are there literally a thousand different variations?
